The Rink Response Bleeding Control Kit includes the essential equipment to stop traumatic bleeding until additional help arrives or you can get the patient to a higher care facility. The equipment in this kit can help stop the flow of blood from life threatening cuts, lacerations and many other types of wounds. The tourniquet will stop massive blood loss from a major limb/extremity injury. Use the compressed gauze to pack a wound and stop the bleeding, or use the emergency self-adherent compression wrap combined with the highly absorbent compressed gauze to stop the flow of blood. This complete and compact kit can be conveniently stored in nearly any location, including; in your bag, in a large pocket, behind the bench as well as non-rink locations like at home, at work, or in your car so you can be ready to help in the event of a roadside accident, active shooter or any situation a life-threatening bleed injury may occur.
